To take a hit or not.
I was watching my daughter play hockey last night. Now she got hit in the ribs with the hockey ball... Standing on the side line all I could think was ouch.. my poor baby... But she surprised us all. She rub the ribs and promptly got stuck back in to the game...
After the game we talked about this...and she said Mum I thought about getting out of the way, but then they would have scored a goal... SO I took the hit...
No how many of us in life are prepared to take the hit?? How many times are we hit with what life has to offer, and how many times do we just get up and keep going or do we stop and think the hurts?
Life sometimes is not fair and the hits hurt. These hits my bruise our ego, our pride and our hearts. But are they really enough to bring us down. Or do we go wow... I took the hit and they did not score the goal.
Look at what others do and say, are they trying to score against you???
If so do you take the hit and keep going or do you let them score?
